UNITED WAY OF GENESEE COUNTY PARTNERS WITH
FOOD CENTER'S COMMUNITY SHARING FUND
It is easy, it is simple, and you can help support a number of
health and human service programs in your community
Here is what you do…
- When you shop at VG’s, have your employees, family and friends save their cash register receipts. United Way of Genesee County will redeem your receipt collection, and VG’s will pay us up to 1% of the total grocery purchases, except for sales tax, tobacco and alcohol products.
- There is no limit to what our United Way can raise.
- The more receipts we collect, the more dollars we raise.
- All receipts, no date restrictions, can be collected, saved and redeemed to support your United Way.
- United Way will redeem all receipts on January 31, 2010.
- Dollars raised from VG’s receipts can be added to your work place campaign total as “VG’s Special Event.” (Companies must maintain totals of receipt collection on a specific form provided by United Way.)
Here is how it works at your workplace…
